It might be hard to accept that someone's pet earns more money than you do — but unless you're really, really rich, it's true.
Surprisingly, the top-earning Instagram pet on this list likely earns more per Instagram post than Mariah Carey, Formula 1, Gary Vaynerchuk, Eva Longoria or Raheem Sterling, according to a Kennelstore report. From cats to hedgehogs, animals of all stripes have raked in millions — or even tens of millions — for their owners via Instagram fame.

1. Jax: $954.54 Per Post
With one eye that's warm brown and one that's crystal blue, Jax the Siberian Husky stands apart from the other Siberian Huskies jockeying for attention on Insta. But that's not all that makes this canine stand out. This doggo protects his owner by slaying the "suction monster" — also known as the vacuum hose. And if you take a scroll through Jax's Instagram, you'll find he also has the "Monday face" down pat.
2. Hamlet: $2,100 Per Post
Hamlet the piggy is more than just an Instagram star. She's a therapy pig for her owner, Melanie Gomez, who suffers from epilepsy. If you follow Hamlet on Insta, you'll be treated to a wide array of pics featuring her in colorful outfits, wigs, hats and glasses. But like others of her kind, this little piggy also likes to take a snooze in the sun and dig her nose in the dirt.

Bodhi, the Shiba Inu, who is "the most stylish dog in the world," is better known by his alter ego: Menswear Dog. The fashion sense of the canine's owners have helped him garner deals with big names likeSalvatore Ferragamo and American Apparel. But those aren't the only deals Bodhi has snagged. This former stray dog was rescued by his current owners from a rag-tag street life.
Popeye the Foodie Dog's personality is such that he insists on traveling everywhere with his family, and he can be trusted implicitly around human food. Take some time to scroll through Popeye's Insta and you'll see him doggy-smiling in front of all kinds of delicious dishes.
And while at one time Popeye was regarded as an unknown mixed breed, his owners had him tested. Popeye is actually a mix of six different breeds, including Shih Tzu, Pomeranian and Maltese.

Known as bertiebertthepom on Instagram, this little choco Pomeranian hates baths. Strangely enough, however, the tiny fur ball loves lounging in what he calls the "cool pool."
And although Bertram sometimes goes without clothes, he has an affinity for bow ties, sunglasses and turtlenecks.

Jill the Squirrel, who was a Hurricane Isaac rescue, turns 8 on Oct. 18. And while she loves to parkour around her indoor abode, she also loves to be cuddled under her owner's chin. The rascally rodent also loves her veggies. She chomps on avocado, sugar snap peas, blueberries, broccoli and endive.

Diddy Kong and Yeti Kong are marmosets — also known as finger monkeys. Diddy's mom and siblings died upon birth. He was the only survivor. Although Diddy and Yeti aren't blood siblings, they do everything together. The two monkeys love taking warm bubble baths, eating treats and hanging out in the sunshine. Some of their favorite treats are string cheese and raspberries.

Mr. Pokee — aka Herbee — is a hedgehog who is often photographed with what appears to be an open-mouthed winning smile. His Instagram serves to spread seeds of sunshine and kindness to his followers. Mr. Pokee's best friend is his owner's cat, Audree. Even though Mr. Pokee has a spiny exterior, the cat still wants to be his snuggle buddy.

Suki is a Bengal cat from Canada who loves to travel and have adventures. Her owner leash-trained her when she was a tiny kitten and now Suki wears it everywhere — even while traversing rocky ledges or hanging onto the side of canoe. One of Suki's favorite meals is sushi. She'll even nosh on broccoli and carrots, too.

Maya the Samoyed — aka mayapolarbear — often seems to have a smile on her face when she's posing for the camera. Juniper's owner, Jessika Coker, now calls the fox "a sweet, cuddly animal," but there were some rough behaviors when she first adopted her; including biting.
Juniper isn't the only rescued exotic Coker has. The cuddly fox lives with other foxes, a possum, a chinchilla and more.
According to Coker, Juniper is also an animal artist. She likes to get her feet in the paint and then run all over her owner's canvases. Juniper's paintings sell for between $45 and $250, depending on size.

Doug the Pug has earned celebrity status on and off Instagram. He recently announced his role as the voice of Monchi the pug in the upcoming animated comedy film "Connected."
Even though Doug is a dog, he has a lot of outfits and accessories. Luckily, he has a super-organized closet, courtesy of the popular account The Home Edit. The bug-eyed pup also loves eating watermelon.

In 2017, Nala became a Guinness World Record holder for being the most popular cat on Instagram with 3.4 million followers. Today, that number has expanded to 4.3 million followers.
Even though this accomplished kitty has her own line of cat food and merchandise, as well paid partnerships with companies like PawCBD and Stainmaster, that doesn't mean she's not interested in having fun. One of the stubby-legged cat's obsessions is to shred the toilet paper in her owner's bathroom.
16. Jiffpom: $57,100 Per Post
Jiffpom's claim to fame — and astounding pay per post — is her next-level cuteness. If you scroll through her Instagram, you'll see post after post of the tiny Pomeranian in adorable outfits, making adorable expressions, next to adorable props.
But jiffpom isn't all about posing for cute photos. She also has a talent: The Pom can jump over a row of double-stacked toilet paper with ease. Unfortunately, it's the triple stack that she just can't clear.
When it comes to treats, jiffpom has an affinity for ice cream, scoring what appears to be her own cup in multiple Insta photos.
